Welcome to Shorna Abedin Blog — a platform dedicated to spiritual healing, awareness, and Islamic enlightenment.
I am Shorna Abedin, an academic with an MA in English Literature, as well as an Author, Filmmaker, and Visual Artist. Beyond my creative professional identity, my life’s mission is rooted in the study and research of the Holy Quran and Sunnah, specifically focusing on the subjects of Black Magic (Sihr) and Ruqyah Shari'ah.
My Journey & Mission
My dedication to this cause stems from a deeply personal experience. For a long time, I suffered from the effects of black magic. However, by the grace of Allah and by strictly following the healing methods prescribed in the Quran and Sunnah, I have successfully recovered and found peace.
During my journey, I observed that many people, out of desperation or lack of knowledge, fall into the trap of Shirk (polytheism) by using amulets (Tabiz) or seeking un-Islamic solutions. This only leads them further away from the path of Islam.
What I Do Here
Through this blog, I aim to:
Raise Awareness: Educate people about the dangers of black magic and how to identify it.
Provide Solutions: Share authentic Ruqyah procedures based on Quranic verses and the Prophet’s (PBUH) Sunnah.
Guide to the Right Path: Help people move away from superstitious and un-Islamic practices (Shirk) and bring them back to the pure path of Tawheed.
With over 100 research-based posts, I am committed to helping others find the same spiritual healing and mental peace that I found through the words of Allah.
I believe that through knowledge and faith, we can overcome any spiritual trial. Thank you for being a part of this journey towards a healthier, Shirk-free life.
